StarPro Greens’ 11 x 17 foot kit includes our 9 x 15 foot Professional Putting Green with the surrounding 1-foot wide border plus 3 rolls of seam tape to secure the border to the green and your choice of 5 indoor or outdoor golf cups. This size green is our most popular with golfers because it’s the largest size that can fit into their recreation room, outdoor patio, or backyard space. It’s popular for golf trainers or schools because even with the added 1-foot border, it’s possible to roll up this green (turf side out) and move it indoors or outdoors or store it. Having a border allows practicing pitching and chipping shots toward the golf cup and also keeps errant putts from rolling off the green. Many golfers permanently install this putting green with border/rough outdoors in their landscape, and like all StarPro Professional Greens, it will last outdoors for many years when you install it following our instructions. StarPro’s famous Master Putting Turf makes this green play like a real golf green, and you can expect a realistic 10-11 stimp speed for your putts, just like at a country club green. Our turf quality is unique because it’s made with UV stabilized ¾” twisted nylon filaments, heat set, then sheared smooth to .56 inch. Our turf has a 4-layer backing: scrim fabric, natural rubber precoat, heavy action-back mesh and a natural rubber non-skid hex base. This lets the green lay and play flat so your golf shots roll as they would on a real golf green. Playing on StarPro Greens is like playing on a real golf green.
