Overview This is a 500 g stand-up pouch made for packaging coffee. It combines two features that matter for fresh coffee: a one-way degassing valve and a resealable zip. Freshly roasted beans give off carbon dioxide for days or weeks after roasting. The valve lets that gas vent out so the bag does not swell or burst, while staying shut against air coming in. The zip below the top of the bag lets the customer reseal it between uses. Why the valve matters Without a valve, freshly roasted coffee either has to rest before bagging or risks inflating the package. A one-way valve means you can pack beans soon after roasting and still protect them from oxygen, which is the main cause of staling. For best results, fill and seal the bag, then store it away from light and heat. The zip is for resealing after opening, not for long-term airtight storage, so squeeze out excess air before zipping.
